Pininfarina Battista Edizione Nino Farina: Tribute to F1’s First Champion

Automobili Pininfarina Unveils Limited Edition Battista Edizione Nino Farina Hypercar

Automobili Pininfarina has revealed a special variant of its all-electric Battista hypercar called the Edizione Nino Farina. This limited edition model pays tribute to Giuseppe ‘Nino’ Farina, the first-ever Formula 1 world champion. Only five examples of the Battista Edizione Nino Farina will be produced, with each car celebrating a significant milestone in Farina’s racing career.

The exterior of the Battista Edizione Nino Farina is adorned in a unique shade of red called Rosso Nino, which is a nod to the cars that Nino Farina raced. The lower body features a special livery finished in Bianco Sestriere and Iconica Blu, complete with a pinstripe along the wing mirrors and on the underside of the rear wing. Additionally, the car has a Bianco Sestriere painted ’01’ on the rear panel.

To enhance its performance and aesthetics, Pininfarina has equipped the Battista Edizione Nino Farina with the Furiosa Pack. This pack includes a more pronounced carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. The car also features black exposed signature carbon fiber, a black roof, brushed aluminum Exterior Jewellery Pack, black brake calipers, and new 10-spoke forged alloy wheels with a Satin Gold finish. Notably, the headlight is engraved with ‘Nino Farina’.

Inside the cabin, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina boasts a two-tone theme. The driver’s seat is finished in black sustainable leather, while the passenger seat is wrapped in beige and black Alcantara. The seats also feature unique headrests, Iconica Blu seatbelts, beige and red contrast stitching, a 12 o’clock ring on the steering wheel, and a black anodized chassis plate.

Under the hood, the limited edition hypercar retains its original powertrain. It is equipped with four electric motors that generate a staggering 1,900 horsepower and 1,725 lb-ft (2,340 Nm) of torque. This power allows the Battista Edizione Nino Farina to accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just 1.86 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).

Paolo Dellachà, the CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, expressed his excitement about the Battista Edizione Nino Farina, stating, “The Battista Edizione Nino Farina represents the vision of our talented Design team, paying an evocative tribute to an undisputed legend of the Pininfarina family and its heritage. An untold story about the spirit and the courage of a man driven by a racing passion like no other.”

Automobili Pininfarina will debut the Battista Edizione Nino Farina at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. With only five units scheduled for production, this limited edition hypercar is sure to become a highly sought-after collector’s item among automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike.

In conclusion, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina is a remarkable tribute to Giuseppe ‘Nino’ Farina and his illustrious racing career. With its stunning design, exclusive features, and exceptional performance, this limited edition hypercar is set to captivate automotive enthusiasts around the world.
