Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath expressed confidence in the development and testing program of the Polestar 3. He expects production to start in Q1 2024. The Polestar 3 is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that produces 483 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque. Customers also have the option to choose the Performance Pack, which reduces the 0-60 mph time to 4.6 seconds and increases the output to 510 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of torque. The Performance Pack includes a sportier air suspension, Swedish gold details, and unique 22-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Powering the Polestar 3 is a 111 kWh battery pack, which is expected to provide a range of up to 610 km in the WLTP cycle. In EPA testing, this should equate to roughly 300 miles of range.
