Introducing the Skoda Elroq EV

The highly anticipated Skoda Elroq EV is set to make its debut later this year, showcasing the brand’s revolutionary Modern Solid design language. This electric crossover, similar in size to the Volkswagen ID 3, will redefine the concept of sustainable mobility.

A Glimpse of the Future

New design sketches reveal the Elroq’s striking Tech-Deck Face and updated logo, featuring bold lettering that replaces the traditional emblem. These design elements reflect Skoda’s commitment to innovation and modernity.

Powered by the MEB Platform

As part of the Volkswagen Group, the Skoda Elroq is built on the cutting-edge MEB platform. This electric vehicle will be Skoda’s second offering, following the successful launch of the Skoda Enyaq crossover.

A New Player in the Market

The Skoda Elroq will occupy a position below the Enyaq and the upcoming budget-friendly Epiq city car in Skoda’s lineup. It will compete with rivals such as the Volvo EX30 and MG 4 EV, offering customers a compelling choice in the electric crossover segment.

Unmatched Range and Performance

The Elroq will feature state-of-the-art battery technology, similar to its Volkswagen Group counterparts. At launch, it is expected to be equipped with an 82kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 348 miles, as seen in the Enyaq. In the following year, a more affordable 58kWh battery pack will be introduced.

Unparalleled Interior Experience

Inside the Elroq, drivers will enjoy a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, complemented by physical buttons for climate control functions. Skoda’s commitment to sustainability extends to the interior, with materials sourced from recycled plastic bottles and clothes.

With an estimated price range of £30,000 to £35,000, the Skoda Elroq offers a compelling combination of design, performance, and sustainability. Stay tuned for its official unveiling later this year, as Skoda ushers in a new era of electric mobility.
