Skoda Elroq: New Electric Crossover Set to Shake Up the Market in 2025

Skoda is gearing up to launch its latest electric vehicle, the Elroq, later this year. Positioned between the Enyaq and the Epiq city SUV, the Elroq is set to compete with popular models like the Volvo EX30, Hyundai Kona Electric, and MG 4, with an estimated price range of £30,000 to £35,000.

Built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, the Skoda Elroq will offer a mid-sized crossover option with battery choices of 58kWh or 82kWh. With a focus on range and performance, the Elroq is expected to surpass the Enyaq’s 350-mile maximum range and offer rapid-charging capabilities.

Inside, the Elroq will feature a 13-inch touchscreen and Skoda’s signature ‘Design Suite’ trim packages, emphasizing space and practicality. The new model showcases Skoda’s updated ‘Modern Solid’ design language, with sleek LED headlights and a rugged lower air intake.
