Introducing the Skywell BE11: A Unique Electric Crossover from China Now Available in the UK

The UK market is about to welcome a new and unconventional electric crossover from China – the Skywell BE11. This mid-sized crossover is set to go on sale very soon and is already creating quite a buzz.

Skywell, a relatively unknown Chinese brand, was established in 2017 as a collaboration between consumer electronics giant Skyworth and electric bus manufacturer Nanjing Golden Dragon. The company responsible for bringing Skywell cars to the UK is Innovation Automotive, a Gloucestershire-based importer that has been selling DFSK electric trucks and vans for some time now. In addition to the BE11, Innovation Automotive will also introduce the Seres 3, a smaller and more affordable electric crossover.

Despite being a newcomer, Skywell has set its sights high, positioning itself as a rival to established luxury brands like Audi and Mercedes-Benz. This ambition is evident in the BE11, which serves as Skywell’s debut vehicle in the automotive industry.

The BE11 offers two battery options: a 72kWh battery that provides a range of 248 miles, and a larger 86kWh battery that extends the range to an impressive 304 miles. Both battery options are paired with a single front-mounted motor, delivering 201bhp and 236lb ft of torque.

With its unique design and impressive range, the Skywell BE11 is poised to make a statement in the UK electric vehicle market. Keep an eye out for its arrival, as it promises to offer a compelling alternative to more established brands.
