Stellantis is set to introduce 30 hybrid models in Europe by the end of 2024, with plans for an additional six launches by 2026. This move comes in response to the increasing demand for hybrid vehicles among buyers.

eDCT Gearbox and Electric Motor Integration

All of Stellantis’ hybrid offerings will feature an electrified dual-clutch transmission (eDCT) with an integrated 28 hp electric motor. These models will also come equipped with a 48V battery pack, providing up to 1 km of electric-only range. The mild-hybrid system aims to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 20% through regenerative braking and coasting.

Upcoming Launches and Model Lineup

While specific details about the upcoming launches have not been disclosed, it is expected that models like the Fiat 500 Hybrid and Fiat Grande Panda Hybrid will be part of the new lineup. Here is a list of the mild-hybrid models that will be available in Europe by the end of the year:

Stellantis’ Electrification Program

Stellantis is investing over €50 billion ($54 billion) in its global electrification program as part of the Dare Forward 2030 plan. The company aims to have an EV-only passenger lineup in Europe by 2030 and achieve a 50% BEV sales mix in the US market by the same year. Ultimately, Stellantis aims to become a carbon net zero corporation by 2038.
