the new tesla cyberquad is less likely to injure your kids

Introduction

After four years since its initial reveal, the highly anticipated Tesla Cybertruck is finally nearing its release. Alongside the truck, Tesla initially showcased an electric quad as a toy for kids. However, due to safety concerns, the toy had to be recalled. But now, it has made a comeback with improved safety features, ensuring a reduced risk of injury.

The Return of the Cyberquad

Radio Flyer, the manufacturer responsible for the Cyberquad, has reintroduced the toy to the market with a price tag of $1,900. The relaunch does not mention any safety issues that plagued it before. Tesla has emphasized the quad’s safety certifications, stating that it is a certified electric ride-on toy under ASTM F963 and meets U.S. Consumer Product Safety Standards for ride-on toys. However, it is important to note that it is not approved or intended for use as a youth ATV.

Enhanced Safety Features

In order to address the previous safety concerns, Radio Flyer made several modifications to the Cyberquad. They replaced parts of the rear suspension and adjusted the age limit from 8 to 12 years, setting a minimum age requirement of nine years. Additionally, the quad now includes tire inflation warnings and labels that clearly indicate it is not meant for off-road use.

Specifications and Availability

The Cyberquad is equipped with a 36-volt battery and a 500-watt motor, providing a top speed of 10 mph and a range of 15 miles. Tesla is currently accepting orders for the toy on its website, with shipping expected to begin in late November.
