Tesla Cybertruck Event: 1 PM CT Start, 10 Units Delivered to Employees | Giga Gears

Tesla Cybertruck Delivery Event Scheduled for November 30th

Tesla is gearing up to deliver the highly-anticipated Cybertruck on November 30th. The delivery event will take place in the early afternoon at the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas.

Event Details

Although Tesla has provided limited information about the event, Martin Viecha, head of investor relations at Tesla, confirmed on Twitter that the event will start at around 1 p.m. Central Time. It’s important to note that this is a workday event, and only a small number of Cybertrucks will be delivered.

According to Javier Verdura, Tesla’s product design director, only 10 Cybertrucks will be handed over to employees during the event. This means that no regular customers will receive their Cybertrucks at this time.

Limited Technical Specifications

One reason for the lack of technical specifications for the Cybertruck is the limited number of deliveries at the event. Tesla has kept many details under wraps, leaving pre-order customers uncertain about what they can expect from their vehicles.

Changes in Model Offerings

Recent documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) suggest that Tesla will no longer offer the base model with a single electric motor. Instead, there will be two options available: a two-motor version and a three-motor version. This change may limit the appeal of the Cybertruck to wealthier buyers and could lead to cancellations of pre-orders.

Preparation for the Event

Tesla has gathered over two dozen Cybertruck prototypes at its factory in preparation for the delivery event.
