Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive Variant Details

The latest addition to the Tesla Model 3 family offers a familiar sedan design with enhanced features. With a starting price of $42,490 before incentives, buyers can enjoy a range of 363 miles (584 km) on a single charge. Opting for the optional 19-inch wheels will slightly reduce the range to an estimated 322 miles (518 km).

Performance and Specifications

Aside from its impressive range, the long-range rear-wheel drive sedan can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h). This model outperforms the entry-level rear-wheel drive variant in terms of acceleration and top speed.

While not as quick as the all-wheel drive variant, which accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.2 seconds, the long-range rear-wheel drive model still offers a thrilling driving experience.

Availability and Pricing

Tesla confirms that the Model 3 Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive is eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit, effectively reducing the price to $34,990. Interested buyers can place their orders now and expect delivery in August or September.
