Thieves Steal Luxury Cars from Rental Shop

A recent incident at Dream Luxury Car Rental in Southfield, Michigan, saw four thieves breaking in and making off with a Ram 1500 TRX, a Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, and a Mercedes-Benz. However, their joyride was short-lived as all vehicles had tracking devices and were quickly recovered.

The Heist

Security footage shows the thieves breaking into the rental shop in the early hours of July 2. Within minutes, they fled in the stolen vehicles, wearing hoodies and masks to conceal their identities.

The Crash

During their escape, the thieves managed to crash the Corvette into a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, causing significant damage. The owner of the rental business, Sam Zahr, estimates losses of around $30,000 due to the incident.

Recovery and Investigation

Police located the abandoned vehicles shortly after the theft. Zahr is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the culprits. The incident also forced him to cancel a wedding rental involving the damaged Rolls-Royce.
