Despite its hefty price tag of over £550,000, this vehicle offers a nostalgic journey for those who adored WRC in the ’90s and now have the means to relive that era.

A Surprising Love for a Non-Fan

As someone who was only five years old during the ’90s and doesn’t particularly appreciate Subaru Imprezas, the Prodrive P25 shouldn’t appeal to me. However, I am always drawn to unique driving experiences. So, when given the opportunity to test drive the P25 on a damp Anglesey circuit, I couldn’t resist.

Driving the Prodrive P25 below nine-tenths of its capability is simply pointless. This car is meant to be driven flat out, demanding a closed road or a circuit. On the track, I usually adopt a smooth driving style, gently maneuvering through corners without disturbing the balance. But the P25 awakened my inner rally driver.
