Chaos Amid Cancelled Flights Reveals Aston Martin DB12 as the Ultimate Grand Tourer

A Rough Start

Arriving at the Aston Martin DB12 launch in the south of France, I was in the worst state imaginable to drive a car. Blame it on British Airways, who had me waking up at 3.30am on consecutive days for cancelled and delayed flights. Exhausted and with a pounding headache, I arrived a day and a half late to the event, feeling quite frustrated.

The Toughest Test

Little did I know that BA and I unintentionally created the ultimate test for the Aston Martin DB12. The car had to be thrilling enough to keep me awake during the drive, yet comfortable enough to prevent me from driving off the edge of the Col de Vence. Additionally, its all-new operating system had to be completely hassle-free.

A Fabulous Drive

Despite the rough start, I had an incredible drive in the Aston Martin DB12. It proved to be the epitome of what a grand tourer should be. The experience was vivid and convincing, showcasing the car’s exceptional performance and comfort. It was a demonstration I would have missed if not for British Airways’ mishaps.
