Toyota HiAce Tuning: B-Dash Unveils Getsu Ace with Land Cruiser Front End

Toyota has recently introduced the 2024 HiAce in Japan with minor updates. However, for those seeking a more significant redesign, aftermarket options are available. One of the most impressive HiAce-based builds showcased at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon is the Getsu Ace by Japanese tuner B-Dash. This unique modification features the front end of a Land Cruiser J300 and a powerful audio system.

Face-Swapping with Style

The Getsu Ace’s eye-catching appearance is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. B-Dash incorporated headlights, grille, and intakes sourced from a Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport, along with a front bumper from Wald. Adapting the Land Cruiser grille to fit the narrower face of the HiAce required cutting it in half and shortening it, resulting in a seamless integration.

Stylish Bodykit and Interior Overhaul

In addition to the Land Cruiser front end, the Getsu Ace features a bodykit that includes side skirts from Essex Progress, body-colored fender extensions, and a sporty rear bumper from Stinger. The van rides on 20-inch wheels by Project D D-1SR and is finished in a shiny Dark Red Mica Metallic paint.

Inside, B-Dash focused on enhancing the sound experience. The cargo area is occupied by a new sound system supplied by Diecock, featuring multiple speakers and amplifiers. The cabin boasts a six-seater configuration with black and red leather upholstery, as well as a Recaro bucket seat for the driver.

No Performance Upgrades, but Modified Chassis

While there are no specific performance upgrades mentioned, the Getsu Ace retains the stock 2.7-liter four-cylinder petrol engine. However, the chassis has been modified with a new air suspension system, giving the van a lowered stance.

Uniqueness and Limited Availability

According to the official website of Tokyo Auto Salon, the Getsu Ace is a one-off creation that is not street legal. Nevertheless, it’s likely that many Toyota HiAce owners would be interested in infusing a touch of Land Cruiser style into their vans.
