Vauxhall Mokka Hybrid Now Available for £25,320

Vauxhall Introduces Hybrid Option to Mokka Range

Vauxhall has expanded its Mokka line-up by adding a hybrid powertrain option, making it the first time the brand’s entire range offers pure-electric, electrified, and combustion power options.

The Mokka Hybrid features a 134bhp 48V system, shared with the smaller Vauxhall Corsa, combining a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with a 28bhp electric motor. The vehicle can travel up to half a mile on electric power alone at speeds below 18mph, thanks to its 0.89kWh lithium-ion battery located under the front passenger seat.

With a claimed fuel consumption of up to 57.6mpg, the hybrid model surpasses the efficiency of the existing petrol-powered Mokka models. The addition of the Miller-cycle engine and front axle-mounted electric motor also improves acceleration, making the Mokka Hybrid quicker to reach 62mph than its pure-petrol counterpart.

Customers can now choose the hybrid powertrain across the Mokka range, with prices starting at £25,320 for the entry-level Griffin trim and going up to £34,115 for the Ultimate specification. The pure-petrol Mokka begins at £21,555, while the EV variant is priced from £29,495.

With Vauxhall’s commitment to offering a variety of powertrain options, the Mokka Hybrid provides a more sustainable and efficient choice for customers looking to reduce their environmental impact while enjoying a versatile and stylish vehicle.
