Zagato Unveils Alpine A110-Based AGTZ Twin Tail

Zagato's Alpine A110-Based AGTZ Twin Tail Unveiled Before Italian Debut

Key Highlights of the AGTZ Twin Tail

  • The AGTZ Twin Tail is based on the Alpine A110 but comes with a price tag of €650,000 ($702,000).
  • Zagato is collaborating with a Polish supercar dealer to produce only 19 units of this unique model.
  • Each car will require around 1,000 hours for construction and assembly.

Unique Features of the AGTZ Twin Tail

The AGTZ Twin Tail, inspired by the Alpine A220 racer from the 1960s, features both short and long tail versions. The long tail section is removable, taking just five minutes to detach or reattach, as reported by Top Gear.

The car boasts a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Customers can opt for a tuned engine delivering 300 hp for an additional cost.

Design and Construction

Zagato has incorporated lightweight carbon fiber components throughout the body of the AGTZ Twin Tail. The front fascia features new air intakes, a bespoke hood, and enlarged headlights. The meticulous construction process requires 1,000 hours per model, justifying its premium price.

“Our project is dedicated to people that are looking for something more in automotive,” stated La Squadra founder Jakub Pietrzak. “People that are looking for something that you can’t see every day on the street. People that are looking at cars through an artistic prism.”

Upcoming Debut

The AGTZ Twin Tail will be on static display at Lake Como before its dynamic debut in July. Don’t miss the chance to witness this exceptional creation in person!
